Silke
Silke brings calm focus, serious endurance and just enough chaos to keep it interesting. She grew up in Heiloo and now studies law in Amsterdam, balancing her lectures with loud playlists, well-prepped classes and the occasional snack break: nickname Smikkel, for a reason.
After 2.5 years of competitive rowing at Nereus, she made the switch to Upclub to pass on her love for the sport. Her favorite? Launch classes. The longer the effort, the better. Silke believes rowing is the best kind of cardio there is, and if you show up a few times a week, you’ll feel that difference fast.
