Iris grew up in Voorschoten, a small village close to Leiden, and moved to Amsterdam to study Health & Life Sciences at the VU. After three years of rowing at Nereus, she found her way to Upclub: first behind the front desk, and now leading workouts on the floor. If you’ve ever taken a class with Iris, you’ll know she’s all about making you feel proud of what you can do. With a background in rowing and strength training, Iris knows how to bring out the best in you, whether it’s perfecting your technique or just pushing through a tough set. She keeps her mornings simple, her playlists loud and her workouts sharp. Expect technical tips, hard work and that little spark of energy that’ll leave you walking out with a smile.
